Training

Volunteering at Voxx can give you not just creative experience, but skills and qualifications that can help you move into work or college.

We also offer Youth Achievement Awards and accredited training too.

On top of that, Voxx can also provide you with help to improve your CV, training in how to apply for jobs, and we can even run practise interviews and give you tips on how to present yourself well.

Finally, if you want training in something and we can’t help, we’ll help you find a local course to suit you – just ask!

Volunteer story: Helen Logan-Brown

“Whilst volunteering at VOXX I was given a whole range of opportunities for training.

I’ve done courses on everything from Quark XPress (design software), photography, editing and proofreading to consultation and interview skills. I even learnt how to make a DVD in another project I got involved with through VOXX.

The skills I have gained through training opportunities with VOXX has really helped me to get into employment, so it’s great experience for everyone.

The courses are free, interesting and it’s hard to believe they are even training!”
