Lonely The Brave announce new single!
Lonely The Brave announce new single, ‘River, River’ taken from upcoming album The Day’s War – Victory Edition FEATURING BRAND NEW TRACKS, PLUS REDUX AND LIVE VERSIONS OF ORIGINAL TRACKS Release date – June 8th
Lonely The Brave today announce a brand new single ‘River, River’. This is the first new material from the band since the middle of last year, and already a firm live favourite with fans. The band explain “‘River, River’ was the first song we wrote after we finished the “The Day’s War”. We’ve been playing it live for a good while and have been asked a lot by fans when we would release it. Although we’re working on our second record at the moment we wanted to get something new out there as quickly as possible.” Taken from the special extended version of their phenomenal debut album, The Day’s War, the track is one of 4 new songs the band have been playing live over the course of their recent sell out UK tour. Titled The Day’s War – Victory Edition, the 2 CD repack will include 12 as yet unreleased tracks, including the 4 brand new songs.
The Day’s War – Victory Edition is available to pre order now http://smarturl.it/LonelyTheBraveD2C. When fans pre order the album they will receive Backroads (Redux) as an instant grat track.
Explaining the re-interpretations of some of their best loved tracks, the band say: “The basic thought process for us was to take the songs apart, and rebuild them in a completely different mindset to how they were originally created. This was one of the most fun and challenging things we have ever done as a band. Songs do not need to be represented by one set context. The feelings and emotions contained within are a living and breathing entity in their own right which should be allowed to develop.”
Lonely The Brave have also recently announced that they will support Twin Atlantic on their 4 huge UK dates in May.
