Final Fantasy 15
‘Final Fantasy 15′ (FF15), published by Square Enix back in November 2016, has already become one of the best ‘Final Fantasy’ games, joining the ranks with ‘FF7′, ‘FF9′ and ‘FF10′. The game is a fantasy JRPG, set in an open world in which can be travelled upon by foot, car or the greatest transport of all; a Chocobo.
You play as Prince Noctis and his three companions – Gladio, Prompto and Ignis – as they embark on a royal field trip. ‘FF15′ involves all the classics of a Final Fantasy game… fighting the local wildlife with insane weapons, cool outfits and the spikiest of hair.
The game’s graphics are astounding, offering a realistic feeling to the pixelated world, from the roads you drive on to the buildings you explore. The fighting is smooth and feels real as each movement appears direct and weighted. The effects of the magic are entertaining to perform and watch as your allies and the ground itself is affected.
The soundtrack for this game is extremely good too, as it not only features the main soundtrack ‘Stand By Me’ by Florence and the Machine, but also all of the original soundtracks from previous games such as ‘One Winged Angel’ from ‘FF7′ and ‘FF13′s’, ‘Promise’.
This game is definitely worth getting as it is easy to get addicted to just from driving around the world map and taking in the environment. And also, due to the new camera feature you can even take photos of your adventure. The story is well timed and executed and will have you entertained for hours, but if you don’t want to do the story, side quests are also available from chocobo racing to hunting, and who doesn’t love a bit of that?
