Emmerdale and The Voice Star Joins the Cast of Grimsby Auditorium’s Panto
The Grimsby Auditorium are thrilled to announce the first cast member for the spectacular family pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk this Christmas with Kelsey-Beth Crossley taking on the role of Princess Tamara.
Kelsey-Beth is best known for the five years she spent in the ITV soap Emmerdale as Scarlett Nicholls. She was also a contestant on the 2014 series of The Voice choosing to join Ricky Wilson’s team rather than Team Kylie before losing out in the Battle rounds.
Jack and the Beanstalk won’t be Kelsey-Beth’s first pantomime as she has previously appeared as Aladdin at the Floral Pavilion.
“I was very nervous the first time I did pantomime, but it was something I had wanted to do because all of my friends told me how much fun it was – and they were right – I love it!”
“Ever since I entered a talent competition as a child I wanted to perform. I knew I had to be on stage as I was always a bit of a show off! I just love acting and singing, and I can also play the piano. Pantomime offers me the chance to both sing and dance, as well as having a lot of fun!”
Steve Boden, Managing Director of Imagine Theatre who are producing the pantomime, says “We are delighted to have Kelsey-Beth on board. She is a bright and bubbly performer who has proved she is very strong in both acting and singing and she will be wonderful as Jack’s love interest Princess Tamara.”
“Last year was our first year at the Grimsby Auditorium and Sleeping Beauty proved to be a huge success so we are delighted to be returning this year and are confident that Jack and the Beanstalk will be even more spectacular!”
Make your family’s wishes come true this Christmas and book your tickets for Jack and the Beanstalk, the hottest event in town.
Jack and the Beanstalk runs from Friday 12 December to Sunday 28 December 2014.
